Butter Ball Hinoki Cypress
The Butter Ball Hinoki Cypress (Chamaecyparis obtusa �Butter Ball�) is a slow-growing, dwarf evergreen shrub with a dense, rounded form. It typically reaches a height and spread of only 2-3 feet over many years. The soft, lush foliage is bright golden-yellow in color and has a delicate, lacy texture. This cultivar prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. It is commonly used as a specimen plant, rock garden plant, or in small garden spaces.
