Lynn's Golden Hinoki Cypress
Lynn's Golden Hinoki Cypress, Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Ceramic', is a slow-growing evergreen tree with a compact, conical habit and a mature height of 4-5 feet. Its foliage is a bright, golden yellow, which contrasts nicely with its darker green interior foliage. The leaves are scale-like and arranged in flattened sprays, giving the tree a feathery appearance. This cultivar is a popular choice for small gardens, rock gardens, and as a container plant. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and partial to full sun exposure.
