Balsam Fir
Abies balsamea, commonly known as balsam fir, is a species of evergreen tree native to North America, ranging from Canada to the northeastern United States. It is valued for its use as a Christmas tree, as well as for its fragrant needles and resin. Balsam fir can grow up to 80 feet tall and has a conical shape, with branches that are densely covered in needles. It is a popular species for reforestation and can also be used for timber and pulpwood.
