Celestial Shadow Dogwood
Cornus x rutgersensis 'Celestial Shadow' is a deciduous hybrid dogwood tree that is a cultivar of the popular Celestial Dogwood. It is known for its attractive variegated foliage, which emerges with a pinkish tint in spring and gradually matures to green with white margins in summer. In autumn, the leaves turn shades of pink, red, and purple, providing a beautiful show of fall color. The tree also produces clusters of small white flowers in spring, followed by red berries in summer that are attractive to birds. With a moderate growth rate and a mature height of 20-25 feet, the Celestial Shadow Dogwood is a great choice for small to medium-sized landscapes. It prefers moist, well-drained soils and partial shade to full sun.
