Red Pine
Red Pine (Pinus resinosa), also known as Norway Pine, is a native evergreen conifer widely found in the northeastern parts of North America, including the United States and Canada. It is recognized by its reddish-brown bark that develops plates and scales as it ages. The needles of the Red Pine are long, slender, and typically occur in pairs, ranging from bright green to yellow-green in color. The tree produces small, reddish-brown cones, adding to its distinctive features. Red Pine is valued for timber and is commonly used in construction and for making various wood products. Additionally, it is planted in reforestation efforts and for ornamental purposes due to its attractive appearance and adaptability.
