Sunjoy Mini Maroon Barberry
Sunjoy Mini Maroon Barberry (Berberis thunbergii 'NCBT1') is a dwarf, deciduous shrub that adds bold color to any landscape. Its compact, rounded form reaches only 2 to 3 feet in height and width. The foliage emerges a rich red-purple in the spring, matures to a deep maroon in the summer, and takes on a bright red hue in the fall. Clusters of small, pale yellow flowers bloom in late spring to early summer, followed by bright red berries in the fall that persist into winter, providing food for birds. Sunjoy Mini Maroon barberry is a hardy and low-maintenance shrub that is perfect for mass plantings, borders, and rock gardens.
