Wells Special Hinoki Cypress
Wells Special Hinoki Cypress (Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Wells Special') is a slow-growing evergreen conifer with a compact, narrow, upright habit. This cultivar features delicate foliage in shades of green, with a slightly lighter color on the undersides of the leaves. The leaves have a soft, feathery texture and are arranged in overlapping whorls along the stems, giving the plant a unique, layered appearance. Wells Special Hinoki Cypress is a low-maintenance plant that prefers well-drained soil and partial shade, and is a great choice for small gardens or container planting. It can also be pruned to maintain its size and shape.
